Gym looking towards Lord Street 2006The Gym looking towards Lord Street. Some of the fittings (ropes etc) can still be seen though some wall bars on the back wall have been removed. Shaun Pye and Allan Wearmouth
Ice-cream parlour 2006In the foreground is the ice-cream parlour and further along the road is the annex that housed 1A and 1B in 1958/9. I think it was still in use until the school was relocated at Oakbank. Shaun Pye
Assembly hall 2006The college common room. This used to be the assembly hall. Shaun Pye
Alice Street entrance 2006The Alice Street entrance. Other than the notice to the left of the doorway, I don’t think anything has changed, unless they’ve painted the doors since. Shaun Pye
Top of the “masters” staircase 2006This was taken on the first floor in the main corridor, standing at the top of the “masters” staircase looking towards Alice Street. Shaun Pye
Main corridor on the first floor 2006This is the main corridor on the first floor, looking towards Cavendish Street. I believe that the rooms along here were general teaching rooms.Shaun Pye
Top corridor 2006The top corridor. Go to the top of the main staircase and turn left up a short flight of stairs. Here was Eddie Current’s biology “lab” and, I think, a chemistry lab and some other rooms. Shaun Pye and Allan Wearmouth
“Masters” staircase 2006A rather poor photo of the “masters” staircase from the second floor. Shaun Pye
Joe’s office 2006This was taken from the same spot looking towards the former Regent Cinema (Skipton Road?). If I recall correctly, that was where Joe’s office was. It is now a Gent’s toilet. Shaun Pye
